silver linings
This is my favorite small work that I’ve ever done, probably. It came out of literally scribbling on the canvas, having no intention of creating anything not abstract, and then I stepped back and it was a snowscape. A pretty, weirdly accurate snowscape for something that as supposed to be nothing.
This one has reminded me that it’s okay to be a little messy with getting to the destination, and that monochrome is never a bad idea.
Artwork information:
6 x 12”, acrylic on canvas, unframed, unvarnished.
